1. Always read the instructions and warnings on the fireworks packaging before using them.
2. Never allow children to handle or use fireworks without adult supervision.
3. Make sure you have a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby in case of an emergency.
4. Light only one firework at a time and never attempt to relight a “dud” firework.
5. Never throw or point fireworks at another person, even in jest.
6. Keep spectators at least 25 feet away from where you are lighting fireworks.
7. Never carry fireworks in your pocket or shoot them off in metal or glass containers.
8. Dispose of used fireworks by soaking them in water and then disposing of them in the trash can, away from any flammable materials or combustible substances such as dry grass, leaves, etc..
9. Make sure that all pets and animals are kept indoors during the use of fireworks to avoid any potential harm to them from loud noises and sparks from the fireworks display.
10. Always store unused fireworks in a cool, dry place away from children and pets until they are ready to be used for your display.
